These 3 palettes cross merchandise the entire men’s and women’s collection. This helps with creating easy selling strategies into accounts as well as a cohesive merchandised floor set.
Planning materials and color palettes starts with color sku sell through analysis. This would give me an early read on potential global key colors needed for the collection. Our team would then meet with our leather vendors to see new materials and surface finishes for the upcoming season.
After the Lead Designer and I decided on tannages, materials and hardware direction, I would then initiate building the global seasonal palettes. Making sure to layer in specific trend relevant color needs.
Above you will see the completed color and trend boards with the buzz words and mood images to better help communicate direction and seed verbiage for the upcoming season. These boards would be printed to a large scale 39″x 55″ and displayed in our showroom.
